NATIONAL INNOVATION & INVENTION COMPETITION 2022 (NIICe2022)
Sustainable Technology Evolution: Post-Pandemic Issues

1. PARTICIPATION

1.1     This competition is open to entries from all over Malaysia according to the categories as stated below:

3. ENTRY

3.1     In Group (not more than 7 members including Group Leader)

4.3     Biotechnology, Health and Chemicals
4.4     Building, Construction and Materials
4.5     ICT, Multimedia and Telecommunications, Electrical and Electronics
4.6     Manufacturing Process, Machines and Equipment
4.7     Pandemic Innovation
4.8     Education

5. FEE

5.1     Each entry will be charged an entrance fee as follows:

5.2     Payment must be made after a Notification of Acceptance is emailed to the participants by the organiser.
5.3     The entry fee will be refunded if the participant withdraws any time after the payment has been made until 2 weeks before the judging process begins on 10th August 2022. After that period, the fee will not be refunded.

6. EARLY REGISTRATION

6.1     The deadline for Early Registration is on or before 8th July 2022.
6.2     Early registration can be made using the Google form link below or can be scanned via the QR Code on the poster and NIICe2022 website.

6.3     Participants are required to upload an Abstract to the registration link. The Abstract format and template can be obtained and downloaded from the NIICe2022 website.

7. NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE AND GROUP REGISTRATION

7.1     Notification of Acceptance will be announced on 22nd July 2022 via email.
7.2     Each group is required to complete the registration process through the link of Google form provided in the Notification of Acceptance email. The deadline to complete the registration is on or before 8th August 2022.
7.3     Participants are required to prepare the documents below and upload them to the registration link provided in the Notification of Acceptance email:

1. 1. 1. Abstract
      2. Extended Abstract – Optional if interested for publication in e-Proceedings with e-ISBN number. Extended Abstract publications in e-Proceedings are in English and are limited to the best publications to be selected by the NIICe2022 Secretariat. The Extended Abstract will also be available online via the NIICe2022 website.
      3. Supporting documents (if any and necessary) such as Copyright, Patent, IP, Commercialization, Letter of Intent, Academic Paper.
      4. YouTube link to the video that has been uploaded on YouTube. The video duration is 5 - 7 minutes. The video will be featured on the NIICe2022 website.

      6. Fee Proof of Payment

7.4     Abstract, Extended Abstract (Optional), video and poster must meet the format as stipulated by the organiser. The format and templates can be obtained and downloaded from the NIICe2022 website.

8. FEE PAYMENT

8.1     Fee payment can be made via Online Banking with details as follows:

8.2     Proof of payment must be uploaded to the Google form link provided in the Notification of Acceptance email.
8.3     The deadline for fee payment is on or before 8th August 2022.

9. ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS

9.1     The winners will be announced online on 22nd August 2022.
9.2     Details and link to the event will be provided on the NIICe2022 website.

10. PRIZES

10.1     e-Certificate of Gold, Silver or Bronze Award will be awarded to all participants based on the achievement of the marks that qualify them in that level.
10.2     Each group will receive ONE digital certificate only.
10.3     Digital certificate will be emailed to each groupwithin 4 weeks from the date of NIICe2022 announcement of winners.
10.4     Medal will be given to ONE winner for each sub-theme of the competition.
10.5     Prizes will be mailed to the winner’s address within 2 months from the date of NIICe2022 announcement of winners.
10.6     Any groups that are interested to purchase the medal must do so within one week after the announcement of winners which is on or before 29th August 2022 via the Google form link below:

11. JUDGEMENT AND DECISION

11.1     The judge’s decision is FINAL and no dispute or appeal will be entertained.
